Originally a heavily industrialized district, Jebel Ali today wears many hats. From housing one of the largest free zones, Jebel Ali Port & Free Zone, known as Jafza, which is the headquarters of companies active in manufacturing, trade, logistics and a range of industrial and service-orientated sectors to expansive residential communities, Jebel Ali is a master planned district. Popular residual communities with the district include Discovery Gardens, The Gardens, Downtown Jebel Ali and Al Furjan, each offering a beautiful range of apartments and villas set within a self-sustained neighbourhood.
